Terms of delivery

 

All orders are being shipped from Belgium.  Our “regular” shop has been closed for the sake of the development of our online activities.

We do not have any collection department at our new address, so collecting your order yourself is not possible. All orders are being shipped by Belgian Post or any other transportation company, to your address, or any other address of your choice, within the EU.

 

Prices and (article) information: all prices and other information on our website are with the reservation of misprints, translation- and typing errors.

 

Knitting books are only sold as part of an order of minimum 5 balls of yarn per book, unless otherwise specified with the book in question.

 

Seperate knitting patterns are only sold when the matching yarns needed to knit the model in question, are also being purchased.

 

Ordering, paying, receiving the parcel: how does it work?

In short:

1. You place an order at our website.
2. We confirm the order per e-mail within one working day, with which you will also receive an order number + all necessary information concerning the payment.
3. You make the payment from your own bank account and add the order number to your payment. 
4. After your payment is received, we process your order and ship it.
5. When your parcel has been shipped, we will send you another e-mail to inform you that your order will be delivered shortly.

 

Should you not have received an order confirmation 2 days after ordering, then you have probably made a mistake while filling out your e-mail address, causing our confirmation not to be able to reach you.  Please check your e-mail address in “my account” at our website and correct it.  (you need to be logged in to be able to see your account and to change data)  Also contact us per e-mail and request that we send your confirmation a second time. (or by phone at nr 0900/69.002).  The telephone number is a pay-line and can only be reached from Belgian phone numbers. 

 

Payment:

Please do not make any payment until you have received our order confirmation with the order number.  Add the order number to your payment, so that we can link your payment automatically to the concerning order.  That way all will be processed in the fastest possible way and you will receive your goods very soon.

 

Shipment:

Your order is processed after we have received your payment.  We will send you another e-mail once your parcel has been shipped, to inform you that the goods are on their way.  Shipment is always at the customer’s risk.  Not under any circumstances do we replace parcels that get lost or stolen along the way.

 

Handling-, administration- and shipment costs:

Costs are dependable on the article amount of your order, your choice of payment, and your country of delivery, and are charged in degressive order (larger article amount = lowering of your share of the costs). 
A table with the charges can be consulted at our website on this page: "costs".  While you are ordering, you can check at any time the costs that will be added.

 

Delivery within Belgium

For delivery within Belgium, you can choose from 3 ways of payment:

- You pay the full amount in advance (articles + costs). These parcels will be sent by regular post or transport.  Under normal circumstances, you will receive the parcel on the first working day after shipment. 

- You pay the full amount in advance (articles + costs) and choose delivery with signature on receipt. These parcels are shipped per regular post, but the postman is not allowed to put your parcel in your letterbox, not even when the parcel is very small and thin.  Someone will have to sign for receipt.  In case there is nobody at home when your parcel is being delivered, you will have to collect it yourself, at your local post office or post point. Under normal circumstances, you will receive the parcel on the next working day after shipment.  

- You pay an advance of € 15,00 into our bank account, and the rest at receipt to the postman (articles + costs).  These parcels are only handed over to you when you pay for them + sign for receipt. Shipment of this kind of parcel only takes place once a week, normally on Saturday morning.  To assure that your order will be shipped on Saturday, your deposit has to be in our bank account on the previous Thursday evening at the latest. Under normal circumstances, you will receive the parcel on the first working day after shipment. 

After shipment of your parcel, we will send you an e-mail, to inform you that your order will be delivered shortly.  Should the parcel not be delivered at the requested address within the normal period of time, please contact us a.s.a.p. 

 

Delivery within Holland and Luxemburg:

Shipment to foreign countries only takes place after payment in advance of the full amount, into our bank account.  You will receive an e-mail when your parcel is on its way.

All parcels are being shipped at the customer’s risk, by Belgian Post, or any other transportation company, depending on the size and the weight of the parcel.  Not under any circumstances do we replace parcels that get lost or stolen along the way.

Shipment to Holland or Luxemburg normally takes a few days.

For shipment to foreign countries, it is not possible to pay cash on delivery, or with the recipients signature.

 

Delivery within other E.U.-countries:

The delivery can take several days, depending on the country of delivery.

 

Delivery to countries outside of the European Union:

are not processed

 

 

Order returns:

Should you, for whatever reason, not be happy with your purchase, please contact us a.s.a.p. (best per e-mail).  We will send you the necessary information and instructions for return.  You can return the goods to us within the next 2 weeks after delivery.

You will have to sufficiently frank the parcel.  Underpaid parcels are not accepted by us.

Shipment costs of returns are at your expense.

 

Articles that cannot be returned:

- Articles which we have ordered especially for you.

- Articles that were made or cut to size for you personally.

- Articles  of which the wrapping was opened or damaged.

- (knitting) books, crochet hooks, knitting needles.

- Left over balls of yarns that were purchased with a discount, promotion or any other price reduction.

 

Returned goods need to be in perfect state for resale!

 

To ensure the quality of our goods, we cannot accept return of goods when the wrapping has been opened or damaged.  This applies especially to stockings, tights and such.

If the returned goods are in perfect state and kits still intact, you can deduct the amount of a new order, or have the amount transferred to your bank account.  The choice is yours.  Should you choose a refund, then you will need to add your European account number (IBAN + BIC) + name and address of the account holder to your parcel.  We will make the transfer within 3 working days after receipt and checking of your return, deducted with the costs that were made for the processing and shipping of your original order.

 

Return of (knitting) yarns: should you have a few balls left over, after finishing your knitting project, you can return them under the same conditions within 3 months after purchase, with a maximum of 3 balls per order on condition that you have bought them at normal price. (no promotions, end of series, or any other discounts).

 

In case of order return, for whatever reason, the original invoice or cash register receipt needs to be returned along with the goods!

 

We only reimburse the value of the goods.  Shipment costs of returns are at your expense.  The expenses we have made for processing, administration and shipment of your original order will be deducted from the value of the returned goods.

 

Each order is being checked several times, before it’s being shipped.  The chance to a mistake is therefore reduced to an absolute minimum.  Should there have been made a mistake, despite this thorough checking, then please inform us immediately!  We will correct our mistake a.s.a.p.  Not under any circumstances should you start on a kit that does not appear to be complete!

 

In case a return needs to be made as a result of a legitimate complaint, we will of course also compensate you for the return transportation costs.
